Hello!

My name is Kara King. I work in the English Department, this is my 9th year at KCHS and my 23rd year teaching.  I look forward to working with your child.  

My teaching philosophy is that all students are capable of learning more than they recognize.  Learning is building blocks of information + time + effort.  Students may not want to write a large term paper but they can with proper instruction. Young people are capable of greatness and I like to show them those possibilities throughout the school year.
