Food Waste Recycling

Beginning this week you will notice green bins next to trash areas by the cafeteria. These are for food waste only: including fruits, vegetables, cheese, yogurt, bread, meat, cereal etc . Staff from Salinas Valley Recycles will be on campus to help you learn how to properly separate your food waste. All leftover food must be disposed of into the green carts that say food waste only and you must separate items that are non-edible like plastic, wrappers, and milk cartons into the trash. If you have unopened/ unbitten items like a whole banana or apple look for the food share station or save it for later. These changes will help us reduce food waste and decrease greenhouse gases that go into the environment when food decomposes at the landfill.

2019 and 2021 Yearbooks will be sold in front of the Ag department at lunch. 2019 yearbooks are $20 and 2021 yearbooks are $35. Cash only is being accepted at this time.

Volleyball is home tonight, come support your Mustang volleyball teams as they take on Notre Dame. JV starts at 5 and varsity to follow.
