President-Kadance Umbarger Hello, my name is Kadence Umbarger and this years 2022-23 chapter President! I have been an officer for three years, first serving as treasurer, then Vice President and now this years President! I would describe myself as passionate, caring, and hardworking. My favorite FFA event that I have attended was State Conference. It was a very fun experience! Some of my hobbies include showing swine and being on the cheer team. This year I am looking forward to growing closer with my officer team and chapter. Hoping for a really great year and being able to accomplish our goals!
Vice-President- Jesse Ledezma Hello! Nice to meet you! I’m Jesse Ledezma your 2022 Vice President! I would personally suscribe myself as outgoing, sophisticated, determined. I have been a officer for 2 years now. My first year serving on the King City FFA officer team I was the historian and now serving as the Vice President! My most memorable FFA event was the 2021 Officer retreat. My hobbies include showing livestock across the US being active in 4-H and FFA. Something I want to take out this year is being able to connect with my officer team and become a family. Hopefully we will be able to reach our goals and with new beginnings we will be able ignite our minds to be a great team.
Vice-President-Roxana Lopez-Hernandez Hello! My name is Roxana Lopez Hernandez, and I am the 2022-2023 Chapter Vice President. This will be my second year serving as a Chapter Officer. In my first year I served as the Secretary, and I will now be serving as one of the Vice Presidents! I would personally describe myself as friendly, ambitious and committed. I enjoy reading, cooking and hanging out with friends. I’ve gotten to experience several amazing FFA Events. A few of my favorite FFA events include the State Convention and COLC. My proudest moment this year has been getting so much more involved in FFA as well as becoming the Chapter Vice President. With this big responsibility, I hope to make a big impact on other people’s lives, as well as grow a tight bond with my fellow officer team.
Recording Secretary-Samantha Roach Hello! I’m Samantha Roach your 2022-2023 chapter Recording Secretary! This is my second year on the officer team, my first year I served as sentinel. This year, I’ll also be serving as the Monterey Bay Section Vice President! I would describe myself as dedicated, determined, and kind. My favorite FFA event that I have attended is the Chapter Officer Leadership Conference (COLC)! My hobbies outside of FFA are playing volleyball and being apart of student council. I also love Taylor Swift! In my year of service, I hope to become closer to my fellow officers and make our FFA activities more fun and engaging! I can’t wait to grow this year as a chapter!
Corresponding Secretary - Brooklyn Monroy This is my first year on the officer team and I am very excited to serve the King City FFA Chapter! I enjoy showing lamb at the Salinas Valley Fair. Outside of the ag department, you can find me on the volleyball court or the softball field as I am a two sport athlete. I play volleyball and softball for King City high school. as well as I play travel ball for both sports!
Treasurer-Samuel Hearne Hello, my name is Samuel Hearne. I am a sophomore, and this is my first year being on the chapter officer team! I am this year’s 2022-2023 treasurer. I would describe myself as hardworking, determined, and caring. My favorite FFA event I have attended has been 26 hours. It was a great experience and I hope to go to many more events and conferences! My hobbies include showing swine, playing football and baseball. This year I am looking forward to connecting with my community and chapter. I also hope to meet new people and grow together as a family.
Reporter-Amity Hearne Hi, I’m Amity Hearne and I am holding the position of KCHS FFA reporter. Being a sophomore, this is my first year being on the officer team. I am looking forward to growing as a team, as well as an organization. Other than FFA, I enjoy participating in sports, as well as showing animals at the fair. This year, I want to help bring everyone in the FFA community together and get everybody excited to be part of it. I hope to meet many new people and help King City FFA grow to its full potential.
Sentinel-Aubree Taylor Hello, my name is Aubree Taylor. I’m serving as the 2022-2023 sentinel. This is my second year on the officer team. My first year I was historian. I would describe myself as outgoing and spontaneous. The best FFA events/activities I have participated in are COLC. Which is a fun leadership conference all officers in our section get to be apart of. My hobby is volleyball. This year, I want to accomplish getting more people to our meetings and becoming a better leader to hopefully earn a larger role in the officer team next year.
Historian-Rafael Sandoval Hello! My name is Rafael Sandoval! I am currently serving as the 2022-2023 Historian! This is my first time serving as an officer. I am super excited to GROW within the chapter and FFA organization. I am still shy but this year I will hopefully come out of my comfort zone and be able to display my outgoing, humble, and encouraging personality within the FFA organization. Besides being in FFA, I like to play football and go hunting with my family. This year I am super excited to be able to Grow as an individual and see what this amazing year has in hold for me!
Student Advisor - Kyla Lambert Hello! My name is Kyla Lambert and I am a Senior serving as this year’s student advisor. This is currently my third year serving as an officer. If I could use any three words to describe myself it would be smart, outgoing, and dedicated. FFA has helped me come out of my shell and open so many doors for new opportunities and lifelong friendships that I will forever cherish. My favorite FFA event in the past 3 years of serving as an officer has been State Conference. I was a finalist for state star farmer and I was able to connect with my fellow classmates that attended and bring the knowledge we obtained back to our chapter. Aside from FFA, my hobbies include playing golf, raising livestock, and barrel racing. I hope to unite this year’s team as one and make some amazing contributions to our chapter members.
