Start your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) December 1! Applications are due by March 3, 2025. Student and parents must create a Federal Student Aid ID (FSA ID) to start the FAFSA process. Start today by creating your FSA ID and submit your financial aid application as soon as possible to be eligible for the most money!
 
If you are undocumented, use the California Dream Act Application (CADAA). You will not need an FSA ID, but you will have to mail in a signature page. Applications are due by March 3, 2025.

Local Scholarships
 
Scholarship packets presented to all seniors in English class on December 12th.
Scholarship applications are due on Tuesday January 14, 2025 by 3:15 PM.
 
No late applications will be accepted.
 
Interview night will be Monday, February 24 at 5:45 PM. 
 

The MPC scholarship application is now open and available at mpc.awardspring.comAll graduating high school students and MPC dual-enrollment students are eligible to apply. The application deadline is March 2, 2025 at 11:59 pm.

One scholarship application allows the students to apply for all of the scholarships that MPC has to offer. Last year, MPC awarded more than $400,000 in scholarships to more than 300 students. Approximately 60% of the students who applied received scholarships.

The application requires:

  • Two essay questions--one about the student's financial situation (up to 500 words) and a personal statement (up to 1,000 words)
  • Two or more letters of recommendation--at least one must come from an instructor
  • Unofficial high school transcript
